Medium Term Goals
Over the next three to five years, my focus lies with furthering my career and qualifications, as well as retaining a balance between professionalism and the part of my life that keeps me grounded, so I can present the best versions of myself in all aspects of my life.

These medium-term goals reflect who I want to become. I want to be a well-balanced individual who is respected in the workplace and recognised for her excellent work ethic, as well as her curiosity and willingness to learn.
01

Excelling in my Graduate Role at Accenture
My goal is to build a strong professional foundation in my graduate role at Accenture. I would strive to be known as someone who performs to a high standard, is an excellent communicator, and is a reliable individual who can be trusted with responsibility. This involves working on improving myself through feedback, volunteering for stretch opportunities, and developing a deep understanding of clients and projects. The main way I will excel in Accenture is to learn as much as possible, be curious and ask lots of questions, with the end goal of renewing a contract with Accenture at the end of the graduate programme.
02
Achieving CAPM Certification
A key milestone for me will be obtaining my PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification. I plan to begin this journey once I am settled into my graduate position, balancing this learning alongside my work. Achieving this certification is a representation of the work I’ve completed and the lessons I’ve learned at UCD Smurfit, and my commitment to becoming an excellent project manager.

03
Sustaining Work Life Balance
As I graduate and move into the workforce, I want to make a conscious effort to balance my work goals and activities that bring me energy and fill up my cup. Health and wellness is something I highly value, and need to protect this by setting clear boundaries, carving out time for sport, rest, and relationships and not losing sight of the things that make me feel like the best version of myself.
04
Returning to Billie Jean King Cup
Another goal of mine is to compete at the Billie Jean King Cup and represent Ireland again in the future. I need to be committed to a secure training schedule and competing nationally, to demonstrate to the selection committee that I am still performing at the high level they are looking for. Tennis has contributed significantly to my ability to be disciplined, as well as my ability to cope under pressure, and I want to carry this part of my identity into the future and not just leave it as something in my past.
