Tennis
My tennis journey began innocently at age 10, but I could never have foreseen the path it would carve. What started as casual club play soon escalated into a demanding life of rigorous time management: balancing daily high-intensity national training with the organisation required to travel across Europe for international competitions. The commitment peaked with the move to Dublin, a necessary step to maintain an elite level while navigating the pressures of school, a demanding structure built on the support of my parents and coaches. While my younger self often resented those sacrifices, the payoff has been immense. Tennis didn't just teach me discipline; it instilled confidence, forged a deep sense of purpose, and delivered friendships for life. Looking back, I never imagined this road would lead to countless possibilities like competing in college tennis in America or representing my country, but these achievements are the direct result of the dedication that started on a local court in Monaleen Tennis Club two decades ago.
