Volunteering
Volunteering has always held a special place in my heart. From a young age, I spent time helping in soup kitchens and local community projects. That early exposure taught me the importance of giving back. One type of voluntary work that I always find myself coming back to is working with children - particularly using my experience in sport to help build their confidence and increase self-belief and a sense of belonging. I’m passionate about creating equal opportunities for all, regardless of ability or background.

Sports Coaching for Individuals with Disabilities
Sports coaching those with disabilities has been among the strongest experiences I've personally ever had. While living in Spartanburg, South Carolina, I was involved with the local 'Miracle League' where I instructed children with disabilities how to play baseball while modifying activities so that all could participate and share the joy of sports (pictured on the left).

Since I was 15 years old, I have been involved in coaching at Donnybrook Lawn Tennis Club under Tennis Irelands “Enjoy Tennis” initiative, coaching children of different ages and abilities how to play tennis, this is not only a sport for the children, it's an opportunity to socialise and make new friends. These experiences have reinforced my belief that having access to physical activity and having the opportunity to be a part of team environments should be an equal opportunity, not a privilege.
Real Estate Working Opportunity
As part of a real estate work experience opportunity, I joined other students to learn from experts about development, investment, and the role property plays in shaping communities. Being aware of how land use, housing, and investment can either benefit or negatively impact members of local communities made a strong impression on me. It has helped how I view “giving back”, not only through volunteer work, but also in my long-term goal of creating my own non-profit organisation in the future.

Flossie Beach Clean Up
I took part in a Flossie Beach Clean Up on Sandymount Beach on the 8th November 2025, as part of the UCD SMurfit Global Leadership Programme. We spent the evening collecting rubbish along the shoreline, something so simple acted as such a powerful reminder of how easy it is to give back to the community and take responsibility for our environment. It was also an opportunity to connect with my classmates outside of the college and work on a project that aligned with our common interests.
Tennis Exhibition Match and Q&A
I was one of the organisers and players who took part in a tennis exhibition on the 29th of November 2025. The purpose of this event was to raise funds to send the Irish Tennis Team to France to compete in the BNP Paribas Master University 2025. This involved organisation and communication with the tennis club where the event was being played, the promotion of the event, engaging with supporters, and finally providing a high level of tennis to entertain the spectators. For me, this was more than just a fundraiser - it was an opportunity to give back to the younger generation through coaching them after the match and engaging with them during the Q&A.
